    Pros

    Location, working hours, kitchen, shower, no others comes to mind.

    Cons

    Managers couldn't really make any decisions. All comes form the boards, and so many cuts.

    Pros

    Strong and established brand
    Incentives for achieving (holidays etc) are good

    Cons

    Have never been able to put my finger on what is wrong with HCL from a staff retention point of view. There's certainly something not right and deep-set within the business though. They have a good balance from a "carrot and stick" perspective but perhaps management are too distant, commission structure could be better, business units could communicate better and some of the micro management/ KPIs/ stats are too much.

    Some really good employees and managers. Good incentives for sales staff and general nice atmosphere.

    Cons

    Not many employee benefits, communication across departments needs to improve

    Dont forget about the junior staff

    Need to bargain the maximum package as you wont get hike once you join whatever be the rating....

    Cons

    Never expect hike... Never expect someone to hear you.

    Inefficiencies in various departments, Compensation when compared to market rates specially for older employees, The dependency of middle to Sr management for decision making process which is very slow at times..

    Sometimes they do false promises to retain employee.
    Please consider pune as part of mainstream HCL
    Please identify employees potential rightly
