I have been working at HD Supply full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive pay and decent benefits. Plenty of opportunity for growth within the company. If you are willing to put in the hard work, you will get noticed.

    Cons

Very corporate since company went public. Lots of hoops to jump through and lots of red tape at times. Difficult to work just an 8 hour day, lots of overtime needed to compete daily duties most of the time due to short handedness.

    Advice to Management

Streamline processes. Instead of creating more steps and rules, work on "trimming the fat" servicing the customer better. Paper work seems to be endless sometimes. Hire more store level associates.
