- Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
Good teamwork. There were, and are, some great people at HD Supply. Learned a lot about how to fix other people's mistakes.
Cons
Senior management is constantly making the same mistakes every other year in regards to inventory due to another group of mangers leaving. Benefits also went down the tubes.

Pros
It was once a great company to work for. Met a lot of great people and learned a lot about distribution/logistics
Cons
Constant transition in senior management in recent years.
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
You meet great people
Cons
The culture of this company has completely changed over the past 2 years. HD Supply went from being the best company I have ever worked for, to being a company I could no longer work for. There is no work/life balance and the environment is one of fear, intimidation, and mistrust. Micromanagent doesn’t begin to describe what is happening in the Healthcare Vertical. The sales team are tasked with hitting metrics that are impossible to meet, and the consequence of not hitting the metrics is the loss of your job (Regardless of how well you’re currently performing or have performed in the past). Being tasked with hitting unrealistic metrics creates stress, decreases morale, and interferes with our ability to take care of our customers. Moreover, forcing people to “hit” unrealistic metrics does nothing to improve the sales process.

Pros
Some great people I worked with but I have learned a lot of then are no longer working for HD Supply Facilities Maintenance
Cons
HD Supply does not hold middle and upper management accountable for their behavior until it reaches an unruly and toxic environment. HR always takes their position over their subordinates. These upper managers spend their time managing up instead of taking care of their teams. They recently went through a large resource reduction that included many middle management positions in the multifamily vertical. HD Supply seems to be self destructing held together only by the dedicated field sales team.
