Pros
As a New Year's decision, I decided to fairly grade all the companies I worked in. So here goes: - most projects are short, last less then a year - allows you to work on many different stuff during your carrier in HDL - working for some of the most influential companies out there - chance to travel and meet the industry leaders - flexible work days/hours - chance to meet interesting people (the best thing in HDL are people) - good company location (city center) - good for junior engineers, you can learn a lot
Cons
As a New Year's decision, I decided to grade all the companies I worked in, and to be fair. So here goes: - work/life balance doesn't exist, you're almost always working on more then 1 project (2 or even 3 if you're good) and working late because you're always missing milestones - projects are different - from very good to garbage (if you're lucky you'll get good stuff, but as a junior you're more likely to get garbage) - bad for experienced engineers since they're being overworked (if you're good, as a reward, you'll get another project, not a bonus or a salary increase) - I left some time ago and when I think of my past time there I can say I learned many things but at high price, only work work work

Pros
The working environment is pretty nice and the employees are great! An employee can learn a lot of things and improve his skills, especially if he is at the early stages of his career. The salary is decent but not great
Cons
An employee is sometimes overloaded with tasks, while other times he may have no task for weeks.

Pros
Good for starters, you just have to pass psycho and intelligence test, don't need to know anything else, they'll teach you (or someone will work for you), maybe you'll get to travel abroad sometimes, people are the best part of the company.
Cons
Average or under average projects. You usually get stuck working for some client for years. If they can't find enough people, they will add you to one more project and that's when the problems are starting. You will be always late and won't finish anything in time and have to excuse yourself on every meeting. If you work only for one client you will be valued less than those working for more than one. Maybe won't get salary increase for long.

Pros
Satisfactory salary for an entry level job.
Cons
Unacceptable choice for accommodation during training in Belgrade. Lack of communication with the colleagues from Serbia. Obsolete way of interview.

Pros
You need no experience to start here. Chance to get to know how big companies work. Basic plan of private medicare.
Cons
Average salary. No bonuses. Raises are once a year and not very big. Working in parallel for different clients who don't know for each other makes you always late. To work on all that you need to work more than regular hours. Your private life sucks in that case. If you survive, you get another project as a reward. If you don't, you get no raise or some small raise. People who decide how much money you are to get don't know who you are.

Pros
I have been working in HDL DH for five months now and I can say that it has been a very positive experience. I had the opportunity to work with experienced and knowledgeable engineers who are always willing to help junior engineers. The general atmosphere in the company is very positive and friendly. I would recommend working here. Salaries are above standard for IT companies in Serbia.
Cons
It is a bit crowded in this building where we are now, but we will move in a couple of months to a larger one.

Cons
Salary is quite low for engineers.
- 2.0Mar 11, 2018Verification EngineerCurrent Employee, more than 3 yearsBelgrade, Central Serbia
Pros
Basic training for young engineers, chance to experience working with some of top names in the industry, chance to rise through the ranks fast because company expanded rapidly and don't have much experienced engineers - if you're good you'll get noticed. A bit higher salaries then in the other companies in the same bussiness.
Cons
Long hours, working for multiple clients who are unaware of one another, high pressure to deliver, which in combination with multiple clients makes you work 10+ hours and still be late. Once in a while you get salary increase (or don't), but you have no idea if you're doing something wrong and what to change or you're just forgoten . You see your managers on a company parties and that's it. Also, very bad for family people because you're expected to give heart and soul for the company, not for your family. Definitely a company not worth staying for a long time.

Pros
The company is growing really fast. You start with a training if you never had relevant experience, together with other junior and senior engineers. Good working atmosphere, flexible work hours, many highly qualified and open-minded employees. International clients which are some of the leading companies in the field. Salary is average compared to other similar companies, but the location in this part of the city is much better than New Belgrade.
Cons
Not much space available currently in the building, so in the start your conditions might not be very pleasant, but that will be solved soon. Sometimes you might have to stay longer than expected to finish the job.

Very big and chaotic projects that are not a good choice for newcomers
