    I have worked at HEBS Digital for a little over a year and have seen the company completely transform in that short amount of time. With a new CEO and tons of new talent being hired in the past few months, the future for HEBS is refreshed and bright.     Although it is a fairly forward-thinking company, some of the upper management can be stuck in their ways and continue to do things just because "that's how it has always been done." Being in a highly innovative and creative industry, this type of thinking is not helpful to the company, its clients or its employees.     Pros

    Some of the teams are awesome and talented. Some big clients and cool projects. Room for growth because people are always leaving. Company is expanding since the new CEO came in.

    Cons

    Some of the upper management is brain dead. Lots of sucking up to the CEO. Low pay.

    -The specialty dept team members are great to work with.

    - Logging time to the .1 (6 minutes) of an hour and providing justification for time weekly - Unfair YoY merit pay - Below-market compensation (no stock options for this "start-up" of 18 years) - Unnecessary probation period with lower salary and no PTO for first 3 months - Major disconnect between sales and AM departments - Long turnaround times for processes (7+ days) - Suggestions to improving processes fall...

    Some very talented developers, technology teams, and marketing minds.

    Cons

    No self awareness at the executive level. Arrogance and intellectual dishonesty are rampant. There is an old boys club mentality in upper management and nepotism is systemic which leads to terrible hiring decisions and unfit employees being moved into positions that they are not qualified for.     The view is nice. You have healthcare. Some of the people are very talented.

    Cons

    If you enjoy stability, keep right on moving. Many in leadership have never worked anywhere else and try to cover up client losses, behind-the-scenes disputes, and the chaos created by the EU office with forced "team spirit" things....which wouldn't be so bad if you couldn't constantly hear your team leads griping about how much they hate their lives.     Your office culture is toxic and there's a reason so many valuable employees flee for other companies after a few months. Yes, this is a fast-moving business and there is high energy but it doesn't have to be this negative of an environment. Really think about the attitudes that you allow to take root and the message that sends to people.

    Pros

    Good work/life balance; you're in the office at 9 and out at 6. A few very exiting new clients and prospects. Good camaraderie among the young staff and frequent happy hours

    Cons

    Very high turnover. Products and services are frequently sold with little consideration for deliverability, which leads to client dissatisfaction and wasted time among client service and support departments. No real training programs for new employees. Morale issues

    Invest in support departments or HeBS will fail on delivering the products and services it sells more and more frequently

    • Open door policy and easy to talk to CEO and have your voice heard • Hard work is rewarded and promotions happen faster than at large companies • Lots of social events--weekly happy hours and quarterly parties • Beautiful office space with great views

    Cons

    • Ebb and flow of clients can lead to being overly busy or having some quiet days • Young coworkers often don't realize how other companies work and have grass-is-greener syndrome, which leads to lower morale

    - Insurance is a con here. Premiums are not competitive. - Work/life balance is highly dependent on your clients, as with most agencies.     One of the great things about working at HEBS Digital is that it is full of young working professionals who are full of ideas and excited to dive into their work. One of the slight downsides is that with everyone being so young they don't realize how great certain perks are compared to many other companies, and can lead to feelings of being underappreciated.

    Advice to Management

    While this is already moving in this direction, continue to ask mid-management for their input prior to rolling out new policies or announcing things.
