easy work, flexible workhours, use to be good perks

poor compensation and ability for growth within the company, boys club, lack of diversity at top level, toxic work environment, different departments unable to work cooperatively, employees are encouraged to find new work opportunity rather than seek promotions within the company.

Pros
The team and people are Herschel are great and really make the company a special place to work for. The product and growth has a lot of potential for the future.
Cons
Lack of communication on how the company is performing with the team and visibility on growth targets. Lack of diversity in voices at the top level. Lack of interest in hearing opinions from members of the team outside a select few.

-talented and diverse staff, lots of really cool nice people -good snacks and coffee available all the time -great health benefits plan -lots of product perks/discounts -monthly parties and events -opportunity to work directly with all levels of the company (the owners are very involved in day to day operations... this could be a pro or a con)
Cons
-pay is below industry average -lack of diversity in upper management -projects were often done on a whim, with no planning for sales or marketing (this wasted staff's time on projects that were doomed to fail) -poor communication, poor process -Sales first, always -no career progression
