I worked at HES (More than 5 years)
Company is meant to help people. The employees are great people.
The pay is terrible. The social workers are underpaid, which results in a lot of turnaround. That's not good for the patients who need counseling and support. The administrative team has a lot of work on their hands and they're not paid well either. Makes it hard to maintain a stress-free environment.
I worked at HES full-time (More than 3 years)
They were willing to have interns
Difficult schedule, did not pay well
most of us who work there really do CARE
Others, it's just a job
Hours are flexible, that's a good thing
Management is inconsistent .....to say the least
Do a good job BUT.........
MAKE those units!
to make more money for the company
Advice to Management
Let me begin by say......STOP CHANGING THE RULES!
Turnover is high because of the inconsistence
Employees will be willing to go that extra mile
