I worked at HNTB as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Excellent work environment, fair pay, opportunities that helped me better understand the industry and the position, understanding with schedule and start/end dates

    Cons

The only con of this internship was that sometimes there wasn't enough work for me to do so then I was given tedious, time consuming tasks to fill my down time. This only happened every now and then though

    Advice to Management

Keep up the environment that you've created. It is an excellent place to work and has clearly attracted young and hard-working individuals

Though not a "con", I am able to work out of state and may be relocating.

    Advice to Management

Experience is a great teacher and I believe I'm one of the best contract recruiters in Illinois.

I have been working at HNTB full-time

    Pros

Lots of work has been won in the past year. Job security is much better.

People seem to really enjoy working with each other

Above average pay for the industry.

Local management seems genuinely concerned about employee morale.

    Cons

it is intense. Not recommended for folks who just want to clock their 40 hours and head home.
