    Pros

Great firm culture, management is open to balancing commitments outside of work. Firm shows commitment to continually providing and receiving feedback.

    Cons

Firmwide values do not always trickle down from the top all the way to staff.

    Advice to Management

Integrate more feedback, though the initiative is great, responding or taking action to it resonates with teams and eventually demonstrates collective team value regardless of role.

    Pros

This employer had great flexibility and benefits. Team managers were great at working around personal needs and conflicts. Good work environment.

    Cons

This job can have high stress levels at times. Some areas of the firm still struggle with inclusiveness. Overall not a bad place.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at HORNE LLP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The "unrivaled flexibility" concept is unique and they do stand by it.

    Cons

    1) There are blurred boundaries within the levels of management. If you are close friends with your supervisor or if your supervisor is close friends with their manager and so on, it's can border in the inappropriate and you may find yourself with nowhere to go if you are not a "member".

    2) The communication in the smaller offices is sub-par, can lack effective leadership and management. Very disappointing.

    Advice to Management

    1) LISTEN to ALL the voices, not just the ones that are "in the club"

    2) PAY ATTENTION to what you hear

    3) WALK THE WALK - you simply do not this in your smaller offices, again very disappointing

    Pros

Great work environment, positive attitudes and management is willing to listen to your complaints.

    Cons

Communication seems to be an issue; although management does listen to the complaints of people, sometimes is bends over too much to try to please one person instead of trying to please the collective group.

    Advice to Management

Keeping believing and trusting your employees. Also, keep challenging us and giving us assignments that are outside of our comfort zones.
