I worked at HP Inc. full-time

    Pros

HP's global footprint makes it unique in allowing you to have a BIG impact.
Senior leaders are quality execs who've proven their mettle.
Lots of opportunity to contribute given the size of the businesses.

    Cons

It's a big company...there are politics you need to be aware of and manage.
Also due to size, can become insular. requires a lot of energy just to deal with internal stuff, so it can prevent you from being as plugged in as you need to be with the industry at large.

    Advice to Management

Stay grounded in what truly will deliver value. Some of it super cool (3D printing!) some is just disciplined execution on an enormous scale. Either way, celebrate everyone who contributes to that success.

I worked at HP Inc. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

My manager was wonderful. Great support team. A lot of nationwide opportunities.

    Cons

Not a lot of business in my region so advancement would require moving to another state.

I worked at HP Inc. full-time

    Pros

    Amazingly talented and smart people
    Flexible hours
    Integrity is demanded and expressed
Very active employees in all aspects of life - work, volunteering, service

    Cons

Wish they hired and promoted more from within
Unwilling to realize that some execs are not good and are not accountable.

    Advice to Management

Find your way back to the HP Way. Clear out the bad mangers, they are killing off teams.

I have been working at HP Inc. full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Best PC designs in the history of the company and its antecedents. 3D printing is the future of manufacturing, and HP is a significant player.

    Cons

Increasingly political, internally and externally. Following Google, Facebook, Twitter, and other Silicon Valley companies down the road of enforcing among employees a culture of conformity to liberal politics. In the short term, this will harm dissenting employees. In the long term, this will lead to conflicts between the business and orthodoxy.

I have been working at HP Inc. full-time

    Pros

    An excellent work environment.

    Flexible work structure.

    Cons

The company offers everything to employees except for a sensible medical cover. The folks at Aetna

refused to accept my NIPT claim because I am below 35. Isn’t it discrimination? What does my age

have to do with being a high-risk pregnancy?

    Advice to Management

Please work on the insurance policy and make a sensible decision. Why would a company as

successful as yours discriminate amongst women of different ages?
