    Pros

    - Fun, relaxed environment. Sales is definitely competitive but in a GOOD way.
    - Upper management is extremely approachable and cares about their employees
    - They WILL do everything they can to help you succeed. They will give you all the tools you need and all the guidance you could ever ask for. They do regular coachings with their brokers and are always looking for ways to help you improve and grow; not just as an agent, but a person as well.
    - There's always bonus opportunities
    - Sales competitions with prizes that people actually like and want
    - Overall attitude of the people who work there is amazing. Ridiculously nice and always willing to help you if you have a question
    - Upper Management genuinely listens to your concerns and suggestions. Town Hall meetings are common and productive!
    - Very flexible in terms of scheduling after you've been there for a month or so. Never a problem if you have an appointment or any obligation really
    - Progressing within the company is very much possible. They almost exclusively hire from within
    - This company is a family. You will love the people you work with and leaving will be hard. It was for me.

    Cons

    - Some of the lower-level management are not as experienced as they should be
    - Micromanaging

    Advice to Management

    - More training for people who've been promoted but don't have much management experience
    - Look into creating a standard coaching method. Right now, from a broker perspective, supervisors don't have much structure when it comes to coaching. In my experience, coachings were very different with one supervisor compared to another. Some more productive than others.

    this model isnt working anymore and can't without changes at the top. look around, see who has left and realize why.

    Pros

    The 2 supervisors here in the brokerage department are absolutely WONDERFUL. Jovone and Erin rock! Very caring, hard workers, great team! No micromanagement and kind people, always willing to help.
    Good work culture. Professional adults. No cursing and nobody is crude. Positive attitudes! Comfortable place to work.
    We make good money here.
    Fun place to work
    Expo was fun

    No cons really
    I wish they gave us more free food. First call center I have worked at, where we are not fed 2-3 times a week. Hopefully this will improve during AEP

    Please avoid this place at all cost!! Unless you like being In financial hardship. The pay is 11.00 per hour and the leads are from 2012! 27 people quit in july because people cant live off of 11.00 per hour. The supervisor are idiots and bullies. PLEASE Dont apply. Trust me

    Pros

    Believe it or not the Upper Management, Bill Stapleton and Tom Wicker specifically, are a big Pro as while to some they may appear unapproachable or that they lack the knowledge of what goes on at all levels, in fact the give each level of Management enough autonomy to make the decisions and take the actions that would be expected - however when/if they realize a situation was not handled properly they will step in. The longer you work there the more predictable they become and you actually get to learn what is expected of you as time goes on - and yes expectations are more than simple numbers. In the sandbox they play in they are actually better than most however the pay is average or below average compared to most and it varies depending on MAQ (inbound project oriented base hourly plus spiff of $2 to $10) or Brokerage. With Brokerage they are far below some other players but that will likely be adjusted to bring them to middle of the pack in time.

    Cons

    Do not believe all the 5 star ratings here and do not believe the 1 star rating either. Reality is somewhere in between depending on a lot of factors, and yes getting along with your boss is and will be one of those factors as he/she can sink you in many ways or can simply make you want to look elsewhere for reasons other than pay. Pay is lower than many competitors but that has gradually improved, and yes it still has a long way to go, but it probably will get there once the realize they are retaining too many bottom feeders and losing too many top performers - mostly due to pay but also due to lower and mid level management.

    Advice to Management

    Take a good hard look at the management training as there are folks in management who truly do not belong there who really do not understand how to manage folks. Focus of the good managers you have and strive to understand why some have the respect of the front line folks while others do not. Focus a little more on the payscales vis-à-vis the competition and develop a bonus program that does not reward folks who do not perform. You are on the right track just do not get derailed. Impressive that Bill Stapleton and Tom Wicker know more about operations and people at all levels and locations than folks think.
