    Pros

    Culture, diversity and life balance are practice and serious about them. Enjoy having a couple of days working at home. Also a good place to advance in your career and continue your education.

    Cons

    Salaries are low and transferring internally won’t get you a desire salary. No too many options for medical benefits including dental and vision.

    To be more competitive in salaries especially for internal transfers.

    Pros

    HSBC US has the following attributes:

    -Brand.
    -Global Connectivity.
    -People/Peers.

    Cons

    -Complicated and slow delivery of credit, cash management and other bank products to existing and prospective clients.
    -Convoluted Client/Prospect Onboarding Process.
    -Management (a lot of managers don't have the understanding, skillset or experience to be in their roles).
    -Production Focus and Framework changes every 3-6 months.
    -Antiquated and outdated systems in every aspect.
    -Annual Reductions in Workforce, even if you are performing and doing the right thing).
    -Compensation (don't expect annual increases and/or bonuses).
    -KYC/CDD Nightmares
    -Lingering Deferred Prosecution Agreement (The DPA)
    -Diversity-other than white women in Sr. Leadership/Management, there are very few people of "color" in CMB or Mid-Corporate Banking.

    Work from home, benefits, work/life balance, diversity programs, competitive salaries, 401k match, bonus program, casual attire, friendly coworkers and nice office environment

    Cons

    Poor management, no career path, limited opportunities for technical growth, no formal training, do not encourage or support outside training or certification, constantly changing technical direction

    Don’t micro manage but take the necessary time to learn each team members’ career goals. Better interdepartmental and team communication. Encourage communities of interest beyond diversity groups.
