    Pros

    > Ethical top management.
    > Long term projects with select clients.
    > Finance / HR team responds promptly for any queries / documentation needed.
    > Provides client letter for travel purposes.

    Cons

    > Pay is at-least 20% less compared to competitors.
    > No career growth. No clear idea of where you will be after working for 5 years. You will start as an analyst and retire as one.
    > GC sponsorship only in EB3 which helps them to retain the employee for a long time.
    > Immigration team is horrible. They dont respond to your queries in a decent way. They put you on the edge every-time you have something to be done related to immigration. It is always your headache to follow up with to get things moving. They have an offshore immigration team with one onsite person. If you ask a question they blame each-other and they dont give a proper answer. You will have to follow at-least 2-3 times.
    > Appraisal process is a complete joke.

    Advice to Management

    > Streamline immigration process where an employee can see his/her status at each stage of the application process.
    > Process GC in EB2 for eligible candidates.
    > Define clear career-path for potential / hardworking employees.
    > Project level management needs more training on how to work with their subordinates.
    > Employee related training in technical aspects must be adopted.

I have been working at HTC Global Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been working with HTC for over a year. I was hired for an onsite role for their major client. They offered me H1B. When I was all set to go onsite, the project kick up got delayed by client and I had to wait for 4 months. That time I was supporting the offshore team and recruited a small team for me . After 4 months the project kicked up and I travelled here to US. I am onsite for the last 10 months and am happy with the company and the package. Everything here is at par with the industry standard.
I have seen some people here shared their tough time in HTC to go onsite. Friends, I respect your comments but the issues you listed happens with every other IT company. Even I faced the same with my previous company. More than 10 people in my team are working onsite and few in that flew right away and some had to wait for few months to get the client approval. Your negative comments may affect someone’s opportunity. Hope you agree with me. Best wishes for you to go onsite sooner.

    Cons

    No perks other than salary

    Advice to Management

Keep following the same open culture in future too

    Pros

They have a very strong BFSI and retail client based out of US. Several 1000 employees are working onsite (both client location and HTC office). They provide visa for all consultants and they are sent onsite based on client requirements (same as any other established IT company).
    Good work life balance
    Friendly Managers
No Micromanagement and freedom to learn new things

    Cons

I dont see anything uniquely negative with the company

    Advice to Management

    Acquire more companies

    Pros

Nobody would bother you about vacations or performance or anything else as long as your client is happy.

    Cons

Do not expect a big pay raise or career growth irrespective of how you perform. Opportunities for advancing in your career are almost none.

    Advice to Management

Create clear career path to attract better employees.
