I worked at Haas Group International (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Haas is a great company to work for. They strive in helping employees on education, and excellence at their job rolls.
I very much enjoyed working with Haas for 13+ years. I miss it.

    Cons

I understand that sometimes, someone at a specific location C.E. can hold a grudge and ruin a persons career over spite. Even tho there were minimum complaints from other Management at several other job sites. In fact, often complemented on my achievements.

    Advice to Management

I understand that sometimes, someone at a specific location C.E. can hold a grudge and ruin a persons career over spite. Even tho there were minimum complaints from other Management at several other job sites. In fact often complemented on my achievements. I feel like I lost some good people to work with, and you lost a dedicated employee that in 13+ years, never missed a day of work. And didn't even take vacation, because it was hard for someone to cover for me.
Please stand behind your truly dedicated people.

    Pros

Good real life class on cut-throat business philosophy.

    Cons

You'll get eaten at some point. Length of stay inversely proportional to salary. (high earners get chopped first).

I have been working at Haas Group International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Relatively low-stress; some travel for job makes it nice to get out of the office; nice co-workers.

    Cons

Low pay, little/no annual bonus, advancement doesn't really seem like an option, no HR in Austin office, vacation time is accrued.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees better. There should be an HR/Office Manager in the office.

    Pros

    This job is relaxing.
You don't have managers yelling at you to get the job done.'
Great pay but could be better

    Cons

Your coworkers are the laziest people in the world.
When you're new, they give you all their work..and you do it because it's your job!

    Advice to Management

Hire better employees! Employees here suck and are so careless with their work

    Pros

Good company to work for if your fortunate enough to have colleagues that are pleasant to deal with.

    Cons

Salaries areent what the industry norm are. Lowballed time and time again when requesting a raise. Company is all about cost cutting, which means high turnover rate for employees.

    Pros

The company has a niche product with grand plans. The service they provide is a real game changer for companies that adopt the solution. The company is heavily dependent on a custom built software product.

    Cons

The company is built with no real direction and structure. The service they provide is extremely labor intensive and full of process gaps. The company has no real commitment to employees. Any job is at risk if they lose one of the major contracts.

    Advice to Management

Invest additional resources to address gaps and solidify the product.

I have been working at Haas Group International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only pro that I can think of is that I was able to work somewhat flexible hours to avoid hitting as much rush hour traffic.

    Cons

No raises/bonuses for over a year.
    Extremely stingy PTO policy.
    Constant reorganization.
Empty promises of raises and job opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to value their hard working people more. There are a lot of extremely intelligent folks out on the floor, but they are all trying to get out of Haas due to the non-competitive salary and lack of upward advancement opportunities. All you will be left with are the people who are too lazy to try to find something better. Constantly holding meetings to tell the employees that "we aren't closing the office" and "you'll get a bonus soon" are not reassuring at all; they actually make everyone worry more.
