    The great feeling of helping someone learn how to be a homeowner with budgeting, routine home maintenance, and fulfilling their civic duty.

    Cons

    The local affiliate board members usually do not have a clue. They need to be oriented and educated much better on the mission.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of the loyal, long term employees. Don't forget about them when compensating new staff.

    Pros

    Great family atmosphere. It feels good helping families in need of a home. There is a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction at the end of the day.

    Cons

    The cons would be that you may wear several hats but not receive the compensation. It's still worth it.

    very small and doesn't have a lot of resources so work can be challenging, like in all small non-profits.

    Pros

    Absolutely love my job! The people and volunteers! Faith based organization. Everyone is happy!!! ReStore staff are fantastic too. Board of directors have worked so hard to improve overall experience.

    Cons

    Pay could be higher. Not enough training!!!! Inherit an idiot or two and sAdly you need to work through issues. I'm done with my input but they want more so...materials available to customize...not good.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in My Habitat and provide training modules.
