I have been working at Hacienda Mexican Restuarants full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Benefits, has a family vibe, local, community driven that values both employees and their customer base. Management is engaging through the company.

    Cons

Small company with somewhat limited upward mobility. They may be falling behind with food evolution when compared to their competitors.

    Pros

Fun and great place to work. People are amazing. Guests are great. The only downfall is the amount of hours. Want a great place to work and have fun...chose Hacienda.

    Cons

The hours can be late and insane

I have been working at Hacienda Mexican Restuarants full-time

    Pros

Easy money. Very flexible hours. Tips average out to be much higher than entry level jobs elsewhere. You can make a hundred bucks in 5 hours.

    Cons

Working all weekend is exhausting but that is when the money is the best. Rude customers/ managers make people willing to take a job making less in a more typical workplace setting.

    Advice to Management

Be more understanding of employees mindset. Keep things positive in the workplace so people stay excited about their job and making money for themselves and the company. Don't burnout your staff.

I have been working at Hacienda Mexican Restuarants part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's usually very busy, so time goes by fast. It's an easy job, not much to learn, so you get the hang of it very quickly. Very open with struggling schedule availabilities.

    Cons

Although busy is good, sometimes it can be busy to the point where everyone is stressed. Not the best pay hourly, but still higher than minimum wage.

I worked at Hacienda Mexican Restuarants part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the employees were really fun and chill. We were allowed to leave on our breaks which was nice, and it was a pretty easy job.

    Cons

Management has no experience, the place is very unsanitary, customers are constantly upset and the managers are always trying to do damage control. Most of the managers would make a mistake and then blame it on the employees to make themselves look better. All of the managers have zero communication skills and are really bad at controlling their tempers which makes the entire business look bad.

    Advice to Management

Go to school in order to learn how to be a more friendly, efficient manager. Allow employees to have their own independence every once in a while instead of micromanaging everything.

I have been working at Hacienda Mexican Restuarants part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people that work at the store in Erskine Village are the best people I have met in the workforce

    Cons

As it is a serving job, the money is never a guarantee and that makes knowing your salary slightly difficult
