      Great place to work

      Pros

Very flexible work life balance. For example, two business days off in addition to the weekend for July 4th. No work place politics.

      Cons

Office environment is old fashioned, we need cubes and open work spaces.

Don't walk, RUN from this company

      Pros

Great people and that is about it.

      Cons

Poor management, poor leadership. This company is going downhill fast, people being "laid off" constantly. Supply Chain is a joke, they have horrible systems nobody knows what is going on. People who have worked there for many years are inflexible to make positive changes and would rather do it the way it has been done. CEO is inexperienced and investors are running the show. I knew the first day of work that it wasn't for me. They don't give you a laptop to work with so you have to print out many spreadsheets and try to weed through the information in meetings. There is no work life balance you are REQUIRED to be there from 8:30-5:30 and working from home is frowned upon. This company was at one time respected but not anymore. It will always be khaki pants for old men. Health insurance was the highest I have ever paid. If I could give them ZERO stars I would.

      Pros

Office culture is fantastic. Upper management very centered on being the best company to work for in the Dallas area. Excellent work-out facilities and great work-life balance. Compensation very good.

      Cons

Limited personal growth opportunities due to the company size being small. Lots of pressure in the job due to the volatile retail industry. Resistance to some basic changes.

      Pros

The people were genuine, helpful and the service standards were excellent.

      Cons

Of course, given the nature of the industry-work/life balance was hard to achieve at times.
