I have been working at Hale & Hearty full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Is a good first job if you are studying, they have flexible hours and they pay weekly.

    Cons

They will schedule you hours just if they need you, that means some weeks you will work 5 or 25 hours depending how busy is. Too much work for what the pay (customers can tip, but only corporate sees that money). Dirty stores over the counter.

    Advice to Management

It would be good if the servers would get the tips that customers give.

I worked at Hale & Hearty part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free small soup , weekends off , able to get a 2nd job , or go to school parttime ,

    Cons

No hours , horrible pay, little breaks , horrible hire ups in corporate

    Advice to Management

Need to learn how to get over things , needs better management , needs to make money . Slow and unsuccessful business. This job is part time . They dont believe in giving full time hours . They already had 4 locations closed this year. I wont be surprised if the business goes dead

I have been working at Hale & Hearty full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Surrounding myself with a group of workers that are willing to teach as much as learn with the ability to stay positive through difficulties.

    Cons

There are times when the company can become a tad bit unorganized due to production being at a high demand.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to create and maintain a safe place to not only work but get the job done.

I have been working at Hale & Hearty (Less than a year)

    Pros

part time worker hitting close to 35 hours a week
50% off salads and soups and drinks
     made prep?
Training period is streamlined, so it is relatively easy to pick up the skill you need to work.

    Cons

Management suck. No ifs, and or buts about it. They typically abused the need for the prep staff to prepare in both the morning and the afternoon. They need to hire staff for the afternoon prep but instead they (management) flip it as giving more hours but nothing over 35. It sad that when other managers come to sub in , they do such a better job of keeping the spirits up.

    Advice to Management

    Hire the worker you need.
    Don't over work the staff
Split responsibilities between workers instead of having one person doing 8 task
It's not what you say its how you say it. Faster, Faster - is rude

I have been working at Hale & Hearty full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working with the company started off very well. Loved going to work. The CEO and Owner treated the company with respect. There was no compromise on standards.

    Cons

Company exchanged hands and managers nor employees are treated with respect. No longer do I look at the company I can retire with.

I have been working at Hale & Hearty part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's an easy job and they do train. Got hired right away without experience. Very good discounts on store food

    Cons

It's part time. And in the summer it's less than 25 hours a week. The managers very few aren't arrogant. No recognition for a good employee

I worked at Hale & Hearty full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free soup , free salad

    Cons

They do not take the time to train people. Management doesn't care about other responsibilities you have outside of work. And they don't appreciate the employees who put in hard work.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the employee who actually work. Communicate more
