I worked at Haley & Aldrich, Inc full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wide range of projects at large scale, you get to learn different skills from them. Also very friendly staffs and culture.

    Cons

May require a lot of travel time for entry level engineer, more of personal preference than a con.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

I have been working at Haley & Aldrich, Inc full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I've been at H&A full time for more than 15 years. I started as an intern while an undergrad and began full time work after grad school. I frequently interview candidates for new positions in our Boston office, so I know that Glassdoor reviews are useful.

H&A is unusual because so many people here stay for a very long time. We stay because it's a great place to work. Really challenging and interesting work, a great reputation among our clients for technical excellence, great people, collaborative coworkers, advancement opportunity, supportive work environment (flexible schedules, part time options, etc), competitive pay/ benefits. Opportunity for direct contact with leadership, and leaders who seek input from all levels of the organization.

    Cons

Honestly, I have no significant complaints.

I worked at Haley & Aldrich, Inc (Less than a year)

    Pros

Potential to be exposed to a wide array of interesting projects.

    Cons

Horrible tendency to outsoure contract work that can be done by company's own employees.

    Advice to Management

Try to keep work internal... you have amazing and talented employees that need the billable hours.

I worked at Haley & Aldrich, Inc full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

H&A is a great company, just the right size, lots of opportunities to meet people from other offices and learn. really great benefits. When I was there they had a policy that even salaried employees could get overtime pay (just time, not time and a half). CEO is caring and transparent.

    Cons

While in general H&A will work with you to advance your career the way you want, the reality is what's available to you is limited to what the company needs (like any company). It's small enough that there isn't always the opportunity to move around if you want to. That said, if it's possible, they will work with you.

    Advice to Management

Keep improving the goal setting process to make sure especially junior staff are on the right track for their careers.
