Everyone hear really puts their heart into their work and it shows. Along with our top quality work and amazing employees, we also have a great culture. I have been working at Hall & Partners full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

H&P has a great culture and wonderful people. Though this is my first job out of college and I've only been here less than a year, I feel as though my voice is heard and I make a valued difference. With social events such as the summer party and Friday Night Drinks, it's been really fun working here. I also enjoy the free food/snacks.

    Cons

Our space could be better; it looks a bit drab right now.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up! You've got a good thing going.

    I worked at Hall & Partners full-time

    Pros

A few people are very helpful and dedicated, and will actually help you develop your skills. Find them and stick to them. There are also some nice little things like free snacks and drinks in the office.

    Cons

Training is nonexistent, you are expected to be a mind-reader when it comes to management, and there is nowhere near enough capacity to get the work done yet they keep taking on more of it without hiring more people. Top heavy structure means you will be doing a lot of work that is well below your capabilities. Outsourcing of many operations to Mumbai or elsewhere in the country creates layers of hassle. Consumer and Health divisions are like two different companies and nobody has figured out how policies should bridge them.

    Advice to Management

Hire more project managers who gets the nuts and bolts done. In fact, just hire more people at the lower levels. Realize that it takes more than drinks, snacks, and pingpong in the office for people to enjoy their jobs and feel like their work is meaningful.

I worked at Hall & Partners (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are friendly and (for the most part) genuinely like each other. Very comfortable office atmosphere. Good laughs shared. Feels like a team.

    Cons

Training and onboarding is not good. Long (LONG) hours. Nowhere near enough staff to get jobs done in normal business hours. (Thanks, Omnicom!) Also middle management is subpar. They don't show that they actually care about those junior to them, take on more work than they can handle in order to look good to their bosses, and aren't afraid to push unwanted work that they believe to be "below them" onto those junior than them even though they have nowhere near capacity to take it on.

    Advice to Management

Trainings. Actual trainings from day one- not just shoving work onto the newbies, saying "figure it out because everyone is swamped." It's vital in order to sustain company traditions and keep morale up. Also, upper management, ask around the office as to what's really going on, bc most managers and directors are just showing you their good side to suck up.
