    Decent job to get a start in the airline industry, various hours available

    Cons

    Management shows clear favoritism, and does not show respect to their employees. This has lead to high turnover and at times a hostile work environment. Many long time employees have been leaving due to their opinions have been ignored

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees, respect goes a long way, under appreciated employees leads to high turnover

    Pros

    Get to interact with new and interesting people everyday. My coworkers were great. Always did something for the holidays. You learn a lot of the aviation industry.

    Cons

    Uncomfortable uniforms and dress code expectations. No raises, worked there 2 years and never got a review or a raise. When bosses come in from out of town all they do is nit pick, never compliment or praise your station for the things you're doing right, just what you're doing wrong.

    Pros

    Enjoyable work environment / friendly & outgoing customers / easy instructions / lots of vacations hours given . Lots of access to great stores and restaurants by the gates. Excellent pilots/ engineers and hostess' always walking by. Great weather and exciting things going on everyday.

    Cons

    Favoritism/ low work quality staff / foul language, secretive, Hippocrates on tardiness / unfair division of work responsibilities / racism / reverse discrimination / horrible parking and shuttle situation

    I worked at Hallmark Aviation Services part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    I had worked with this company for over 2 years, The company its better than most handling company with benefits, upper management its really nice. It sure its the foot in the door company, it allowed 1 to work in the industry, get the experiences doing many position. Schedule can be flexible, account manager can be nice. I had the best BM ever for some time.

    Cons

    The disadvantages working with handling company means no flight benefits, low pay, big gap in between shift if you can find account to have continue shift.

    Advice to Management

    Please do evaluate you BM to make sure they are fair, doing their job without bias, and doing their share of the job rather then using their authority to not do what they expect others. If a company want to be best, then they must do their best to retain their employees.

    Pros

    I was working at Hallmark Aviation more than a year as a Customer Service Agent for Virgin Australia Airline LAX.
    Very nice management (from Hallmark Aviation side). Supervises are always there to help. Comfortable work - family environment.
    Paying overtime 1.5 times, providing with hotels if needed.
    All benefits that you need and would like to choose. (health/dental/vision)

    Cons

    Airport traffic, takes extra 20 min to get from parking lot to your work place and at the end of the day even more sometimes.
    Parking a little expensive, not worth it if you work part - time.

    Advice to Management

    To add airline benefits (international as well, not domestic only) or make it equal between employees.

    Pros

    The airline and team I worked with were great, if it was a direct hire airline it would've been no complaints

    Cons

    Hallmark was a 3rd party for many airlines and it down right sucked. The HR and "management" were very unfair and fraudulent
    I was contacted years later after I was long gone about a check I never received and I was given the short end of the stick when trying to figure it out
    There's always opening cause people don't stick around long
