    Pros

Office is really nice, management is really helpful

    Cons

Brokers are not of the highest caliber people, you don't feel like your coworkers work for the same company.

    Advice to Management

need to let go of brokers who ruin the brand

    Pros

State-of-the-art company image. Excellent management. Technical support and Fare split. Company well established and recognized nationwide. Training available every week.

    Cons

Can't think of many things. New York is a very competitive market. I'll say it's a structured process for every step but that's the norm.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the hard work. Loved working with you ;)

I worked at Halstead Property (More than a year)

    Pros

    Pretty Offices, Ok locations

    Cons

Upper East Side office is full of "retired type" older people. Not a fun vibrant office, very unmotivating and staff is stuck with their own ways. Higher management is always too busy, can never help you with a problem, and they don't pay their employees properly, and always late in paying. They don't have a good listing system either, truly awful. NO CULTURE.

    Advice to Management

get some young people in your office, get some culture in there. Employees respond better, simple management knowledge.

    Pros

I absolutely loved working at Halstead. NYC real estate ended up not being the right fit for me, but there is no place I would have rather learned this than Halstead. Amazing group energy and teamwork.

    Cons

Real estate in NYC is difficult. Halstead does an incredible job supporting you, but it's still a challenging path regardless.

I worked at Halstead Property part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent marketing. Director of Sales of our office was a really good leader who motivated us all. Mentor was very helpful and she taught me so much about the business and was very encouraging. Our sales team worked very well together and was very helpful with referrals with me as a new agent.

    Cons

I wish the training that was available in Manhattan was also avaialble to us in Connecticut at an eatlier date but we didnt have enough agents in our area to warrant it at the time.

I worked at Halstead Property full-time

    Pros

Communicate alot with the tenants, not hard work just long days. Morning shifts were the best shifts to work

    Cons

The days go by very slow, you couldn't do much, time just takes forever. Overnight shifts were the worst

    Pros

The company is big but not so big that you go unnoticed. The CEO's are always around and very reachable and responsive. Room for growth. Great benefits and bonuses.

    Cons

I have nothing bad to say about this company although everything has to be approved by NY. Not so much a con as it is an inconvenience. Also wish our office had its own marketing department.

    Advice to Management

    Some departments seem understaffed.
