    Pros

    Great place to work with great benefits, it's a new building so there's not many cons at the job at the moment.

    Cons

    None so far, as I stated in the pros, there's not many cons. There's some minor issues with the hotel but it's a brand new building that's only been open for 3 weeks.

    Flexible schedules, Friendly environment, Easy-going atmosphere

    Sometimes, too much downtime
    Could take on more responsibility

    Advice to Management

    I felt management was on point for the most part. There were some things specific to operations that could be adjusted to make Hampton Inn more efficient, otherwise I felt in dealing with their employees, they were honest.

    What I enjoyed most about Hampton was the culture they promote. It was a very positive environment, structured, and innovative. The team member hotel discounts were awesome as well.

    If I had to choose it was that I worked second shift and had no social life on the weekends.

    Pros

    Great owner. True American business man. Management is great. The type of workplace where you can be laid back and still provide the best service around.

    Started at $9 left with two promotions at $11.25 or $11.50/hr which is great for night shift. expect to be paid based on performance and experience. $9 starting was with one year of the same job duties at a different hotel

    Cons

    Unless you go corporate not much advancement except to GM which I can't imagine that would pay that much in a smaller market. Great highschool senior/ college job .

    Advice to Management

    Keep that long leash given employees are still performing above expectation, makes a big difference in overall morale.
