    Negative Outlook

I worked at Hampton Inn full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent hourly pay and to discounts. That is all I'd say was the pros about working at this place!

    Cons

    NO insurance provided
They say you get a break but then are yelled at for taking a lunch break!
Under staffed so you're always over worked.
The gossip Management allows to happen is unreal!
    Managers bully you.
    Favoritism is shown daily.
Good luck even getting a break to go to the restroom without your manager or supervisor having a hissy fit!

    Advice to Management

Advice? Where do I even begin?! Everything seems so genuine and organized during the interview. You think " Wow, this place isn't bad like everyone says. They seem nice". WRONG! For starters, having Managed many different businesses myself, how about you cut out the in-your-face favoritism? You are quick to fire an employee who doesn't show up that you aren't fond of but the one you dote on that doesn't call and takes their off days as they please even if scheduled you say nothing to. While you rush some off the clock, you let others wallow in over time! Secondly, as previously being a Manager, if you can't work seven weekends with your crew then maybe you shouldn't manage. Thirdly, stop being so afraid of doing write ups! This goes for all departments there including. Don't sit back and allow fellow employees to get bullied, racially and sexually harassed right before your eyes REPEATEDLY and never write said employee up! Everywhere I've ever worked write ups were a thing hence the crew I've worked with wasn't out of control like the crew here. The reason no one applies and you can't find hard workers is because of these things. There is a reason Hampton Inn in Fairhope is frowned upon so much as a place of employment. Trust me, I wish I would have listened to former Hampton employees and avoided working there like the plague because every negative thing they had to say about working there turned out to be true and then some. So, stop catering to your favorites while firing others for the same things, stop allowing harassment to happen without writing someone up and don't overwork an employee then snap on them when they take their lunch break for a mere thirty minutes. Your work place environment grows crappier and crappier at the Fairhope Hampton Inn.
