    It's a franchise

Nov 23, 2022 - SPA Manager in Berkeley, CA
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Good organization with a lot of opportunity, ever evolving, and great culture. There are tons of incentives, and the atmosphere is serine for a job that requires high energy and task oriented. There is more to be done than you might think.

    Cons

There is high turn over in this industry. Required hours are excessive, and the benefits can be limited. It is a Franchise, and the owners can only do so much depending on how long they are owners, how many spas they have, and how successful the spa(s) are

They do not pay their therapists the sign on bonus as advertised and promised

Nov 23, 2022 - Licensed Massage Therapist in Draper, UT
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

    The tips were decent enough.

    Cons

They don't pay the sign on bonus as advertised and promised. They have unprofessional and unethical business practices. Management has zero customer service experience and is rude and argumentative creating a hostile environment. Morale is low.. Rude coworkers get rewarded for bad behavior. Always mess ups with scheduling and paychecks. Pto not added to your paycheck as promised. Paycheck from one location not deposited because the manager failed to get paperwork submitted on time. Watch your schedule like a hawk they will Overbrook you, put breaks in where you don't need, block off half a shift for no reason, booked you for an entire day when you only work a few hrs.. . Pay your therapists the sign on bonus as advertised and promised! First it was to be paid over the first 3 paychecks then they said it's a typo then they said 90 days then they said not paying at all. Stay away LMTs!

Nov 18, 2022 - SPA Associate in Richmond, VA

    Pros

It's not a hard job to do. You get health benefits and free massages, facials.

    Cons

The amount you get for commission could be much better. You are basically a salesperson, but they don't pay you enough for your work. in my opinion.
