Hanesbrands has a positive culture and promotes personal growth offering numerous courses on campus focused on improving technical skills as well as soft skills. Tuition reimbursement is also offered if you are looking...

I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Not a lot. Good Benefits. Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance. Short term and long term disability, 401 K matching, Most employees are friendly and try to do a good job. If you need a short term job for a quick paycheck you can get it here, but long term look somewhere else.

    Cons

Raises every couple years less than 3%. Insurance goes up every year which results in making less and less each year due to insurance premiums increasing and raises which do not cover the premium increases. Lack of consistent work. More like a part time job instead of a full time job. Some weeks you get laid off while other weeks we are being asked to work overtime. We are told between Thursday and Friday afternoon...

    Advice to Management

All Levels of management from top to bottom could use more training. Get rid of the "good old boy system" and start enforcing the policies and procedures and treating everyone consistent and fair. It shouldn't be family and friends getting preferential treatment especially when it comes to promotions. This may be why the facility is in the current situation its in. Maintenance on the machines needs completed. Be...

I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Co workers are nice . Good 401k

    Cons

Bad behavior in upper management is rewarded. Problematic terms like “urban” are tossed around and rap music is blasted during sales presentations a prop. They are constantly marketing to POC but have few on the team an 0 in management roles. There is no work life balance and wanting to have one is frowned upon.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees as assets and allow them to grow. Take and adhere to some sort of bias training

I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Majority of the employees are friendly and helpful. Pays well. Excellent medical/dental, 401k, life insurance.

    Cons

Huge issue with the amount of product being designed and production timing. No room for growth. It seems non-experienced freelancers are brought in based on personality. Too top-heavy : lots of managers, not enough worker-bees. Office morale declined after about a year.

I worked at Hanesbrands part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I can honestly say that Hanesbrand takes care of their employees more than most companies do. The store I worked in was brand new so we had some growing pains but it was still a great environment to work in. There are also opportunities to grow if you work hard.

    Cons

All positions are part time until you reach assistant management.
