I have been working at Hanesbrands part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Monthy sales bonuses if you make store goals. Open communication with management. 401k with company contribution.

    Cons

Third keys don't get many benefits. No paid vacation unless you're upper management.

I worked at Hanesbrands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great discounts and merchandise. Stable company.

    Cons

Very, very strict. By the book, no exceptions. Even management had to clock in and out for 10 minute breaks. No room for common sense. The customer is always right. Management is expected to follow company policies, but then gets in trouble for doing so because upper management ALWAYS caves in to the customer. It's a no win situation. Corporate comes in frequently and never speaks to regular associates. Very demoralizing.

    Cons

Pay is ridiculous , upper management doesn't care about employees. If the store manager doesn't like you then you will not have a great experience

I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time

    Pros

Great Benefits; Gym, Group Exercise, Wellness Center, Dry Cleaner, Credit Union and Cafeteria, all on site. Wonderful campus.

    Cons

Top-Down fear based management. People are afraid to introduce new ideas, take risks, or speak out. Upper Management wants employees to tell them what they want to hear, not necessarily the truth.

    I worked at Hanesbrands

    Pros

The brands and products are well know and the people know the company. The offices are well appointed but you must be willing to work in an open air office environment. Benifits are solid and 401K program is good.

    Cons

Analysis Paralysis. This company spends an enormous amount of time analyzing the business. So much so that it seems that the upper management is looking for way to penalize anyone with a number that is slightly off or a forecast that falls just short of the mark. This is a Boys club. Women working on the sales teams will need to take a “one of the boys” mentality as there as no punches held during after hours work sessions.

    Cons

-hard to get feedback on what to do to get promoted. Only one person in my department got promoted the whole 5 years I was there. -Minimal raises and no bonuses. -Upper management had a hard time implementing changes that could improve processes.

    Pros

    Nothing. Just don't work here.

    Cons

The upper management staff has a god complex. Her decision makes no sense yet everyone is forced to work in her way without any opinion. Everyone is unappreciated and miserable. I saw someone joined as a full-time employee and he hated within 3 months, the big mistake he said.
