I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Very supportive team and everyone at the company has been wonderful to work with. Lots of fun employee events onsite. Cafeteria, medical clinic, and fitness center onsite. Great brands. Environmentally-conscious company. Very good medical insurance through Cigna.

    Cons

The company should be more open to allowing flexible work arrangements and the ability to work from home as needed. There could also be more awareness of a healthy work/life balance. Many employees are consumed day and night with the workload. The vacation policy could also be a little more generous.

I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Co workers are nice . Good 401k

    Cons

Bad behavior in upper management is rewarded. Problematic terms like “urban” are tossed around and rap music is blasted during sales presentations a prop. They are constantly marketing to POC but have few on the team an 0 in management roles. There is no work life balance and wanting to have one is frowned upon.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees as assets and allow them to grow. Take and adhere to some sort of bias training

    I worked at Hanesbrands full-time

    Pros

The best things about the job were the pay, the benefits and the people.

    Cons

The least desirable thing was the work life balance.

Not many, all the positive things about the company vanished.

The lack of pay for what you do. No raises for performance or cost of living. No work- life balance. Promotions based on everything but performance.

    Advice to Management

I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Some decent perks with a nice campus, on site medical center.

    Cons

Horrible Culture that continues to get worse over time. Promotions given to people with certain religious affiliations in one area of the company and nepotism in general is rampant, leading to people put into positions they don't have the experience or qualifications for---thus impacting company results. Company isn't paying a 401K match this year despite record profits. Middle Management is extremely overworked with no work/life balance. . HR doesn't work for or care about the workforce---only exists to keep salaries down and execute/apologize for layoffs, work/life balance with no real ear to helping at all.

    Advice to Management

No use in giving advice, they make it clear that they don't care what anyone in the company thinks besides themselves.

I have been working at Hanesbrands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Pretty good work/life balance. If you work at Oak Summit- campus is pretty. Honestly I really have nothing more to say that's positive.

    Cons

There are no raises based on merit or even a yearly cost of living raise. They tell you one thing and then take it back about benefits. I would not recommend working for this company if you want any kind of growth opportunities. Also they really underpay their TD. They have a salary range and it doesn't matter how much experience you have. Someone who has 3 years of experience could be making the same amount as someone who has 10+ years. Don't work here!

    Advice to Management

Pay your staff more. Someone who has 10+ years of experience should not make the same as someone who has 3 years. Don't tell people one thing when your offering them the job and then have them relocate and take it and take away the benefits.
