Pros
OC management could not be better. I was welcomed with open arms and have never felt out of place or unwanted. My coworkers and I are truly like a family. From our Saturday night after-hour dinners to spending our days off together, I could not be happier working at Hangar. For anyone looking to start bartending, the OC location would be the place to do it. I love it here so much.
Cons
Shared tips are great, but only when everyone puts in the same amount of work. Those who aren't giving it their all are still rewarded with the same tips as those who work hard every shift.

Pros
Hangar 24 has had some great employees. They have hired some top notch professionals to train, manage and run the company. The staff at the tasting room, production and sales always enjoyed being around each other and worked well together. A few years back the brewery was on pace to be a top brewery. Orange Wheat was the beer everyone mimicked. Til this day, the beer isn't bad, and the atmosphere at the tasting room is awesome.
Cons
The owner. He won't let his professional hires actually do their job. He continually wants control and essentially micromanages them and pushes them out. It wouldn't be a problem if he was engaged 100%, but he in and out and wanting to live a lavish fun life, and when ready, he returns and causes havoc. The owner and his family believe that all employees are expendable place holders. They work employees until they suck all knowledge and information from them and make them believe they appreciate their hard work, then they find someone else and replace them. No one is treated with respect and care.

Young Company Growing Fast

If you're looking to get rich quick, move on and sell subprime mortgages. If you have a passion for quality, hard work you can be proud of, and at the end of the day say to yourself, "This was worth it," then this may be the place for you. The perks working for a craft brewery include a good amount of free beer, like-minded individuals who enjoy creating a quality product and getting that product into people's hands, and cool merchandise. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance at reasonable costs (the company pays the bulk for full-time employees and some for family members), retirement plans after a year of employment, and paid time off for full-time employees. Overall, a great culture to be a part of.
Cons
Low pay to start. Movement within the company can be slow, but things may be getting better as it grows.
