  1. "Life at Hansen entails embracing challenges with new projects and initiatives."

    Pros

One of the best reasons to work at Hansen is the strong comradery between coworkers. Each person is more than willing to help their fellow coworkers when problems or issues arise. There is a strong sense of community in the company.

    Cons

One of the current challenges of working at Hansen is from the rapid growth in the company. Additional organizational restructuring needs to continue to ensure efficiencies across product lines.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen and heed the suggestions from frontline resources. They have keen insights to additional improvements needed within the products and internal processes.

    Pros

You can pick health insurance based on needs and budget. Payroll and HR is outsourced,, otherwise would be crappy like rest of company.

    Cons

Way too many to list. Let's start with outdated technology and old school
Micromanagement combined with ageism, sexism, and discrimination. No females or minorities in high ranking positions. The smart ones are abused - seen as slaves -by management and all leave. Everything is micromanaged by old white men in Australia and pushed down to the worker bees. A frat club management team whom are clueless how to retain good talent and run a good business. No organic growth, only via M&A. Long hours, no perks, no respect for a person. Cannot take time off when needed. No bereavement time. No respect for single ladies and single moms. Just work like a slave and work weekends without any additional comp, and management doesn't want to hear your child is sick and u don't have backup even if you haven't utilized any PTO. Either choose your kid or your job. Constant unreasonable demands and pressure. Total burn out and neglect for Self and family is what is expected while
Management live it up and take credit for your work and put blame on you for
their mishaps. And expect abuse from management that 60 plus hours a week plus commute is not working hard
Enough. Worst management and company I ever worked for.

    Pros

    I do not see any

    Cons

I applied for a job at this company, went through a process of four interviews over a period of one month, plus one more month waiting for their feedback. When I got their offer letter and asked some questions before I sign it, I received an email from their HR recruiter informing me they have withdrawn the offer. My impression from this experience, is that Hansen Technologies it’s a very unprofessional, unorganized company that just leaves a bad taste in one’s mouth. Totally unpleasant and disappointing.

I worked at Hansen Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, easy to get hired

    Cons

    - Revolving door for women - especially in the marketing function (3-6 months average)
    - CEO has no respect for marketing because he thinks he’s the smartest person in the room
    - Really accomplished women have been pushed out by CEO. He has an especially low tolerance for females in the workplace and is squandering excellent resources, Hiring and firing isn't cheap.
    - Only one women on executive team reflects the CEOs attitude towards females
    - CEO thinks Americans are stupid

    Advice to Management

Wondering when the board will step up and acknowledge the pattern of unhealthy treatment against women before things blow up?

I worked at Hansen Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the people are good to work with. Good pay and benefits.

    Cons

Company is global, but everything is micro-managed from AU. If you don't work in the AU office, you don't exist. No organic growth, only by M&A. No HR department in the US, with over 250 employees now. Company is run like a fraternity.

    Advice to Management

Trust people to do their jobs.
