I worked at Hanwha full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Difficult to get paid commissions even after customer had paid 100% of their invoices...bad upper management decisions...actually lost deals because Executive mismanagement and shady history...paychecks were late sometimes...company is only here to make money from the US

    Advice to Management

    I worked at Hanwha full-time

    Pros

Amazingly the potential is there, egos and pride just need to be left at the door.

    Cons

The environment and culture make it difficult for true leadership to flourish. Way to many cooks in the kitchen...

    Advice to Management

Hire leaders that take accountability for their actions and instill that into their teams. Then get out of the way and let them lead.

I worked at Hanwha full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You have a chance to work a lot of overtime.

    Cons

Too many to discuss! The work environment as in weather related is rough, the people are vindictive, and overall enviornment is just horrible.

    Advice to Management

Some of you are the worse managers, overlooking behaviors of some, because you believe they will keep your numbers up. Bad apples spoil the rest of the bunch, not make them more nutritional....just remember that!

I worked at Hanwha full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Pay, and that is all.

    Cons

Moronic management. Decision-making based on cronyism and not merit. Employees rewarded for "phoning it in", while workers with a good work ethic are expected to pick up the slack without any recognition of a job well done.

    Advice to Management

Find a job elsewhere. You're dragging this company down to satisfy your own self-interests.

    I worked at Hanwha full-time

    Pros

Good product line. Good benefits. A few good people.

    Cons

    - Korea has no trust or respect for US. - Redundant approval levels add massive amounts of busy work. For example, traveling sales people have to get approval before traveling. "Hi, is it OK if I do my job?" - Whatever total package you are promised, subtract 30-40 percent. No one makes the promised amount. - Expense policy forces employees to pay for their office expenses. Example - they will not pay for...

    Advice to Management

First, go back to the Samsung brand. Second, hire US management for the US team, and let them run the group as their own company.
