I worked at Hara Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to get your feet wet in the field of eCommerce, and the atmosphere is friendly and laid back.

    Cons

However, management is VERY unorganized and never go follow through with their ideas. They are VERY impatient and expect the business to reach international success overnight. Also, BE VERY CAREFUL! Compensation is below minimum wage.

    Advice to Management

Take your time, make the right decisions. Business take years to grow to become something.

I worked at Hara Partners full-time

    Pros

If you’re new to this field, you’ll learn a lot about eCommerce and receive real world experience working at Hara Partners. They’re located in a prime location (near Grand Central Station) which makes travel easy. In most cases they hire very talented and passionate people to work for them. Making friends will be easy. Overall it’s something to add to your resume.

    Cons

Unfortunately, Hara Partners suffers from a lack of commitment and a lack of direction. Management never follows through with ideas that will help grow the company. Instead they dream big and take shortcuts that destroy the extreme efforts of their employees. Hara Partners also never contribute any funds to their ideas and decide to try to have their employees figure out shortcuts to receive optimal results. This causes a lot of frustration and stress for the team. The pay is way below average for full time employees and should be considered a crime for the amount of work and responsibility they put us through.

The saddest part is after all your hard work and your continuous efforts you wind up having bounced checks, late or no pay, and last but not least, falsified W2s. Being a loyal, hardworking employee at Hara Partners will not prevent you from eventually facing this travesty.

When thinking about working at Hara Partners, ask yourself “Is this all worth it”? Eventually you will all suffer the same fate everyone else before you had suffered. They’ll tell you they changed, they’ll tell you that was the past. It was, but it will happen again. It’s a revolving door. This is why they don’t have any employees that have stayed there for over a year.

    Advice to Management

Contribute funds to you ideas, results will be far more beneficial than in the past. If you have a good idea, be patient and follow through with it. Be honest with your employees and treat them first. Pay your employees on time or lay them off, pay your taxes or lay employees off. Don’t be selfish and try anything to keep the company running, it’s hurting a lot of people, professionally and personally.

I worked at Hara Partners part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am grateful to work with Hara Partners everyday. they make each other laugh and help each other out. I am happy to call Hara Partners my work home, and my coworker's my work family. Some more pros: flip flops & causal attire, along with bring your dog to work day - everyday!
Good Encouragement from the leadership team. I love my co-workers, fun place to work at. Making people smile is highly gratifying for me. Great people, great work

    Cons

Here at Hara Partners, they likes to try new things! We could be better at following procedures, or putting processes in place. We learn from our mistakes, and they're getting better at putting guardrails in place that will help us be more efficient in the future.

    Advice to Management

As the company grows make sure that we keep the perfect example for Others
