    Pros

    lots of hours available to work, the basic tasks of work are very easy, the hours aren't too horrific like at McDonald's or Blockbuster, the store is closed on holidays unlike other places, managers can be very friendly and easy to get along with

    Cons

    rude and impatient customers, low pay, greasy environment, high temperature in the kitchen area, coworkers that don't care or very low intelligence, uniforms that you have to pay to have cleaned, not much room for promotion to satisfying job

    Advice to Management

    if they really want to be fast casual and not fast food they should modify restaurants to mirror this change, i.e. get rid of drive thru lane

    Pros

    good field management support. You are able to run operations with some flexibility. Depending on area management, you will get great support and great direction.

    Cons

    Poor management decisions from the very top. Gross tv commercials. Marketing not thought out. Reinventing the wheel. Not a people first business. A lot of wasted money in jobs that do not need to exsist. Poor support from corporate office. Ripping off customers for a .80 cent piece of meat. Poor quality of life, great if you want to live there for 65 hours a week. The company is grasping at straws to stay in business.

    Our store is individually owned and the franchisees are fair and hard working.

    Cons

    The menu can not be changed except from the top down. We have had small suggestions from customers such as adding choc. milk to the menu. When we take initiative to add this we are reminded that we can only sell approved products.

    every day is different and challenging

    long hours-work 6 to 7 days every week-your time off is not always quality due to situations that interupt your time that could have been prevented by proactive measures of subordinates

    two days off per week would yield higher productiviy and boosted morale-plan better and more in advance instead of being so reactive-insure more timely communication based on real life situations-have others look at projects or assignments and how they relate to operations or other current procedures to enure compatibility to current company direction

    Pros

    well its fast food. very fast paced which makes the day go by alot faster. Alot of hours also. Great people to work with.

    Cons

    Benifits suck! no free meal. you get 50 percent off an hour before and after you work. 20 percent the rest of the time. also your break is unpaid which is awful because even if you only have a 5 hour shift you HAVE to take a break.

    Advice to Management

    the DM's need to get to know the crew. also redo the beifits. every other fast food joint gives a free meal

    Pros

    One of the best reasons to work at Hardee's is the free food. The co-workers were usually fun to hang out with.

    Cons

    I can't believe they got rid of the roast beef sandwich! People seemed to love the roast beef and I think business really dropped off when they dropped it.

    Advice to Management

    Management - My store closed in December 2009 because of mismanagement. Don't let this happen to your other stores or there won't be a Hardee's to write reviews about.

    Pros

    Working with customers and resolving issues is a great feeling.

    Cons

    Management needs to listen to standout employees when there are threats made by low life employees. This needs to be taken seriously and weed out the bad employees which will make situations better for everyone involved. Customers can see this as well, which will affect business.

    Screen employees. Listen to key employees.

    Pros

    The job was kind of flexible with hours and I am sure that the actual corporation may not be bad but the restaurant I worked for was franchise owned.

    Cons

    When there was problems with the head manager and all of the shift leaders complained nothing would ever get done, it got to the point where over 3 managers quit within 3 months

    Advice to Management

    Check in on the franchise stores because there is problems and the crew is too scared to tell anyone in fear of getting in trouble.
