    -free food up to $5
    -good management

    Cons

-didn't have enough people working night shift on game days (UNC stadium right by Hardee's)

I worked at Hardee's (More than a year)

    Pros

Meal discounts (on days you work)

    Cons

Unprofessional management, hostile work environment, uncaring staff, low wages, long wait period after approved for a raise to when you get said raise.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your turn over rate, that many people leaving in a short period of time should clue you in to the fact that your management team isn't doing their jobs correctly. Pay attention to complaints, if multiple employees are complaining about a manager or that manager's attitude while at work, LISTEN. Pay your team fairly. Honesty in interviews, don't hire someone for cashier at 8 am and then switch their position, and expect them to show up at 4 am to do biscuits. Changing a schedule and not informing affected staff of said changes - some of which people have been fired for when they don't show up to a shift they knew nothing about, you should call them and ask / confirm.

    Pros

Great company loved working for hardees I held every position at hardees over the past 10 years except the gm position which I am wanting. I was on and off with the company for 10 years due to moving out of state and things of that nature.

    Cons

The only downside to hardees is it is hard work and a lot of it for very little pay. They need to give raises and pay there good employees what they are worth. It is better to have well paid good employees then horrible employees for little paycheck

    Advice to Management

    I worked at Hardee's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Health Insurance was available to managers and the hiring process was easy. Bonus program was good but you had to live at the store ( 60 hrs + ) to earn the bonuses.

    Cons

They do not take care of their facilities, Poor equipment and building maintenance. 40 second Drive Thru time is all they are concerned about. Very stressful on managers to meet labor guideline with only a staff of 3 people in the afternoons.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people first and profits will follow. You must reinvest ion your facilities for long term success. Stop worrying about 40 second Drive thru window time. Real customers are happy with being served within 2 minutes. You cannot give good service and accurate orders in a 40 second time frame.

I have been working at Hardee's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working at fast pace and enjoy my position as a back line lead. Opportunity to move up in position and pay

    Cons

Just like most jobs there are cliques and also people who are favored by management. Communication could always be better..

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone with the same amount of respect and dignity. And be fair with how every situation is handled no matter who is involved.

  9. "Good Job for first-time employment"

    I have been working at Hardee's part-time

    Pros

Great coworkers, often not very busy,

    Cons

When it did get busy which happened occasionally as it was by a college basketball stadium, it was very understaffed and poorly managed. I would have to work drive thru, front line cashier, and pack the bags by myself.
    Pay wasn't great.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you match the work schedule to match the stadium schedule for big basketball games. At least make sure there will be two people working in the front.

I have been working at Hardee's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The best thing about working there are your co-workers. Everyone, management and crew work their tails off right beside each other. Were like a big family. They also will give anyone a chance, regardless of your past or background.

    Cons

They work you to death, but don't pay you near what your worth, or offer what competitors do.It can be very stressful. They micromanage the place to the point of ridiculousness. We are always short handed, either because they're obsessing over labor, or because we can't keep people because they move on where the pay is better.

    Advice to Management

Pay your good, hard working and dedicated workers what they're worth. They are the back bone of the company, you need them.
