Long term career growth and development
Dec 7, 2022 - Financial Analyst in Wauwatosa, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Best Job I have had. Their finance division has an excellent culture of recognition and work life balance. Top tier working environment.
Cons
There are none that I'm aware

Pros
Co workers and customers are great. It probably depends on the individual dealership regarding co workers.
Cons
Pay is not the greatest.

Dying Growth
Apr 4, 2023 - Senior Manufacturing Supervisor in Menomonee Falls, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Base salary plus lots of overtime Unlimited vacation
Cons
Overtime can become a con No growth opportunities; grab your experience, the name, the title, and look elsewhere if you have a degree. The shifts are not the same; leadership tells you differently from your counterparts. You're left with an odd standpoint on how you should manage your shift compared to 1st shift (which has all of the management). An old man's company, the company lacks an innovative dynamic, things are hard to move due to management and the union. Directors and management do not support the off shifts. They are primarily on first and go home as soon as they can on 1st shift. No support, but yet have the same expectations for the off shifts. Poor leadership and growth opportunities are cut short and blamed on HR without a clear direction on what or why.

The work is fun and the other techs are great.
Cons
The pay is a total joke when I paid $35,000 for an education to work on Harleys.

Good place to work, good community and culture
Nov 28, 2022 - Sr Design Engineer in Wauwatosa, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very good design process established and refined over the years. Wide variety of different roles to keep career progression options open. Very good product development process to work out as many product flaws as possible prior to launch to customers.
Cons
HD had a culture of not doing in-line promotions: if you love your job and like your boss, but want to move to the next level you will need to apply for a different job within the organization because it's next to impossible to get an in-line promotion. And the interview process is really irrelevant and doesn't highlight what the candidate has done and can do for the company. Annual raises were put on hold for several years, then came back but established at a very low level, with the opportunity to compete with your colleagues to get an 'adder' that *might* keep up with inflation (pre-covid). Stigma's of your performance (whether accurate or inaccurate) tend to stick and pigeon hole you quickly.

Good company but becoming too WOKE.
Apr 11, 2023 - Sr. Engineer in Milwaukee, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Opportunity for growth, reasonable pay, very flexible schedule, most groups are great to work with
Cons
Becoming very woke/liberal in societal affairs which in my opinion has taken away from the ability to just create awesome motorcycles.
