    Positive Outlook

    Pros

    Open work environment
Managers are open to your suggestions
You can tell your managers and other team members about the things you want to dive in and they will support you
They set realistic expectations, and fulfil the same.

    Cons

I frankly liked working here. Maintenance projects might bore you. Luckily I was in the development project, so I loved it.

    Advice to Management

I know you do everything to get the things going great, and we love you for that. Please allow to perforate certain concerns to the mass employees, so that everyone is better informed and we all can think in the same direction. After all we are a family, and we want to be with you in every initiative and endeavor company wishes to undertake.

I have been working at Harris full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good place for international students. Offers a good internship program and H1B-Visa sponsorship.

    Flexible hours.
    Excellent work-life balance.
    A lot of vacation time.
    Excellent Co-Workers and friendly managers.
    Ability to work remotely.
     Good retirement plan and match.

    Cons

    pay is average.

health care plan is good but costly.

A few exciting development projects when first joining but then work becomes mostly maintenance and bug fixing.

Moving up the ladder is slow, but possible.

Be prepared to train your replacement for several months. Upper Management likes to out source your job once they see that your work is complete.
You can avoid this by becoming a crucial client-facing customer technical contact.

    Advice to Management

Consider the creative ideas of Engineers working in the field that can lead to new revenue growing prospects.

Keep quality people, and don't feel the need to always cut cost.
