    -Flexible Scheduling
    -Job is not too hard
    -Great first job
    -Customer Service is very important. They do a good job at trying to satisfy everyone.

    Cons

    -Understaffed at times
    -No holiday time off. No time and a half on holidays worked.
    -Management can be distant at times
    -High Turnover Rate
    -Super Doubles Week

    Advice to Management

    Pay deserving employees more so the turnover rate decreases. Staff more people on evenings/weekends. It can get very busy that time.

    Fast paced, interact with customers, lots of new products to constantly sample, overall friendly staff and management (so long as you do your job)

    Cons

    Other workers not pulling their weight, the occasion customer who thinks the world revolves around them, inexplicable pay discrepancies amongst employees

    Advice to Management

    HT management should either put more concern Starbucks issues. After all, it's still a vital part of the company.

    I wish they would work on employees in the warehouse and teach them to properly stack trucks so that product doesn't get damaged, because it happens a lot.

    Get organized, do not catch an attitude when employees aware you of things going on in their lives and you don't respect them and they quit...

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, great opportunities to move up. You can also skip to another department if your first one isn't a good fit. I found that hard to do with other companies.

    Cons

    Lower management is often unprofessional, wanting to be your friend and get invited to your parties. If you don't socialize outside of work, you fall out of their good graces.

    Pros

    free items on evic, free meals, 10% on Harris Teeter items. 2 times yearly bonus in April and September.

    Cons

    Once locked into hourly position it is difficult to move up to management level position even when you are better suited than those holding such position in tbe company. Never sell yourself short. The so called management will fraustrate you till you quit voluntarily.

    Advice to Management

    serious need for asset protection especially if you operate 24 hours service. need in house hr staff. headoffice hr can not properly identify good quality staff for promotion.
