    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Harrison College part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The organization is very accepting of different personalities and ideas.

    Cons

While the different campuses have their own unique qualities, the final word comes from the main offices in Indianapolis, IN.

    Advice to Management

I would like to see more focus on student groups. The Terre Haute campus has offered the best overall education to its students that I have ever witnessed.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Harrison College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Many of the people who work at the campus level are a joy to work with and sincerely care about what they do.

    Cons

The leadership talks a good game of caring about the students, but when it comes to the actual work, it's very clear profit rules the day. Also, many of the people there have been there a long time, so upward mobility is very lacking.

    Advice to Management

Practice what you preach; if you truly put the student first, you'd still be able to make a profit.

I have been working at Harrison College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My experience comes from working in the administration and not on an actual campus. Overall it is a decent place to work, the people are nice and I have no real complaints.

    Cons

They are a For-Profit college and they have had multiple rounds of layoffs the past few years. So be aware that if profits are down you won't get raises and there is a chance that roles can be eliminated.

    Advice to Management

    None.

I have been working at Harrison College (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great work environment! Friendly staff all the way up to the President. The staff truly cares about the students and want see them succeed. Its a small family.

    Cons

Lots of pressure to meet goals, can be salezy at times. There aren't clear lines of ethical choices for when you really shouldn't enroll a student. We help some students we set some up for failure. Its all about meeting the goals. Its up to what you can live with doing at the end of the day to get a shout out email from the execs

    Advice to Management

Ethic was lost some where as the company grows. We needs to find it. That is what set us apart from other colleges in the first place.
