I have been working at Harvey Nichols full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Generous Staff Discount
    Travel Card Offer
Friendly staff and team at the stores, dependent on your department.

    Cons

Conflicting work politics at work affecting staff progression.
Little to no focus on progression.

    Advice to Management

Invest from the bottom up, staff members at the bottom of the food chain are just as ambitious as those higher up. Develop these people and it will be worth it in the long run.

So quite you get bored easily

I have been working at Harvey Nichols full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The discount that is provided for
employees is very much unbelievable, not only in store but in restaurants, bars, clothing stores.

    Cons

Although they're are not many cons, there is not much room for promotion once you work up the waiter levels. To apply for a high role you must wait till someone leaves, which is not often.

I worked at Harvey Nichols (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Discount, pride in where worked.

    Cons

Pay is not worth the amount of work which is put in. Higher management make lower staff feel worthless. Internal promotion is on favouritism. Lower management do not get time back and are expected to work over 45+ hours a week.

    Advice to Management

Respect staff more. Create a nice working enviroment once again. Happy staff means happy customers.
