  • Half day Fridays are great in the summer (in 52 reviews)

Cons
  • Some departments are understaffed, so work/life balance is different depending on the department you work in (in 8 reviews)

I worked at Hasbro as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with. As an intern i was actually given work to do that was useful and valuable to those i worked with. Really amazingly talented people to learn from.

    Cons

Didn't get to really see any professional code. Was hard to grow as a programmer without being exposed to code of people who have been working in the field for a long time.

Although they hire a ton of interns, coops and temps every year, very few become full time employees.

I have been working at Hasbro (More than a year)

    Pros

Encouraging, creative, and fun. Very communicative in their vision of what they want for their shows, with show runners and head writers who continue this within the writer's room.

    Cons

Most shows are freelance, would have loved to have had a 5 day/week writer's room.

    Advice to Management

    None.
