    Pros

Hathaway Dinwiddie sets an unprecedented level of work life balance, team work, communication, a sense of belonging, opportunities for advancement, and many other things I had yet to see in my previous employment at (ENR Top 20) construction firms.

    Cons

I currently have not seen any, I have been here for 6 months but been in the industry for over 5 years at other larger firms.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Listen to the people from the bottom to the top, like you do. Help them feel important, like you do. And keep up the friendly environment that makes your employees love working for you.

I have been working at Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction full-time

    Pros

Hathaway truly believes in giving their personnel the ability to make decisions, and get backed up by upper management.
The president and VP's are always available to assist.
For those that are self motivated, there is plenty of room for advancement; both in job position and salary.

    Cons

With projects throughout the area, your commute can go from easy to miserable overnight.
The 401k match could be better.

    Advice to Management

Continue to foster growth from within, and encourage all employees to take responsibility for maintaining good relationships with our clients and contractors.
