    Pros

    - Fun product and brand name cache

    Cons

    - Young inexperienced staff
    - Lack of genuine understanding of the US market outside of just the numbers.
    - High School work environment
    - Poor managing and training of staff to help succeed
    - An environment of favoritism
    - Reactionary emotional approach instead of planned foresight approach to gain growth.
    - Quick staff turnover
    - Low Team moral over all

    Advice to Management

    - Currently everyone is drinking their own Kool-Aid. Changes are happening in this market that the team is not even aware of or think is not important.
    - Set realistic goals.
    - Challenge Brazil for what you really need to grow the business in the US and don't settle.
    - Invest in your warehouse or it will be the downfall of the brand in the US.

    Pros

There's still some good people left on the teams
    Great product

(I don't have any other pros but I had to write 20 words in order to submit)

    Cons

    Poor management
Lack of communication- most people are left in the dark about important decisions

    Advice to Management

When I first stated there were a lot of Pros, employees used to be excited at work, the culture in the office was challenging but fun. Teams were very collaborative and you worked closely to help another out. That's all changed, they have gone through numerous transitions and one thing that always bothered me was that whenever someone left, regardless if they were fired or left on their own they were talked about as being the "cancer of the office". There is very little communication which often made people feel uneasy, everyday it was a guessing game of the mood the directors would be in.
A lot has changed and this company has great potential because it's a great product but management doesn't appreciate or respect their employees.

Stop putting people (mainly managers) in positions they are not qualified for and havaianas will stop being a revolving door.

    Pros

Growing company with lots of opportunity to really expand across the US marketplace. Genuinely fun and well made product - people are really passionate about the brand and you can feel that energy at work. People are nice and collaborative, good work life balance, nice benefits package, supportive risk taking company. I've read other negatives reviews online, but this is not my experience working here.

    Cons

There are growing pains here; some team changes and process improvements have been happening, but more improvements are needed in certain areas. From what I can tell people are encouraged to suggest ideas to management or empowered to challenge a status quo.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be transparent with communications and keep your teams updated on business!

I worked at Havaianas full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is some freedom to run your store as it were your own brand. The job itself is easy to perform

    Cons

Communication is lacking. Scheduled/"touch bases"meetings are just not done on a consistent basis. You can be waiting to receive feedback for a very long time. If you are looking for a company to invest in your growth this is not the company. Training for staff as well as management was little to none. We were encouraged to research the company on our own to learn more about the brand.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your people so
They will stay longer. Say THANK YOU it goes a long way.

I have been working at Havaianas full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

not many things to say considering you will be overworked and underpaid. No one talks to anyone and expect to be treated poorly

    Cons

certain ppl are favored over everyone else and the rest are treated like drones. Management fires ppl left and right and throw the work on to others. Look elsewhere for a job. Beware!!

    Advice to Management

Bring in new senior leadership to run a company operating in America
