    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Havas Edge full-time

    Pros

Very casual dress code. Flip flops and shorts are standard attire here. Employee environment is like being at a frat house. Lots of food and pot lucks. Free coffee

    Cons

Bad management skills and habits. Down talks and bullies employees. Trouble tends to roll all the way down hill at this company. Upper management does not to take responsibility for their own bad decisions. Technology that should have been gone 10 years ago lingers on in a half-life. Why a competent competitor has not surfaced is beyond… CEO and President are too rich for their own good. They do not reinvest... in their employees. You are low balled into accepting a leaser salary for the position. Performance reviews are done to down talk you into doing more than is reasonably expected for the position and salary. No raises! You're just another body to complete unfulfilled tasks and not be rewarded.

    Advice to Management

They wouldn't listen anyway...that's how you get in trouble. Company is a reactive perspective to getting things done or moving forward with technology. Advice given is taken as a threat to their ability to manage.

I have been working at Havas Edge full-time

    Pros

Fun location in Hollywood, hours aren't too bad. The business model brings in many clients for just one project so you'll work on many different kinds of things.

    Cons

Very high turnover. The commercials aren't very creative.

I have been working at Havas Edge full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You can learn and apply some limited skills quickly. Oddly bankers hours, if that's important to you. People can be fun and friendly.

    Cons

Obviously not really a serious "leading agency" work environment - a lot of people (on all levels) don't seem completely engaged. Can be an opportunity to shine by comparison, but take that shine with you to a place that will nurture it.
