    Pros

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff; good benefits

    Cons

Senior management is not very transparent and the culture is odd -- very friendly but still cliquish and there is no training/explanation when you start

    Pros

If you like low pay and working late nights and weekends Havas Media is the place for you! This place is an absolute joke. The only pro is the free food in kitchens but keeping your sanity is better than a bag of lays

    Cons

Everything. Senior management creates a culture of Middle School bullying that everyone is aware of but most people keep their heads down. The unprofessionalism runs rampant here in an effort for the Directors and SVPs try to make up for that time they got stood up at junior prom. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It doesn't matter how hard you work you will only be a number here. Management is constantly in a knee jerk reaction despite the fact that you need half a brain to get promoted here. They do not train and they do not divide the work evenly. Sick days aren't a thing at Havas. Any kind of work life balance won't happen here because your boss forgets that you are a person and not a monkey to crank out reports for them. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!

    Advice to Management

Close shop. It would be the best investment for the company. You are a disgrace to the advertising industry as a whole

    Pros

Free cereal & milk, bananas, apples, oranges, and chips.
Benefit allowing pre tax dollars to be used toward public transit and parking costs.
    Modern, renovated office space.
    Casual dress code.

    Cons

401k contribution match is made once a year at the end of December if you are still employed with the company.
There is only one health insurance plan option and it's a high deductible plan.

    Advice to Management

Please be careful that you are not just "filling seats" and that you are excited about the people you hire.

    Pros

    Big name brand clients.

    Cons

Favoritism, no human respect or empathy, unrealistically long hours... inhumane, cliquey, no training, no overtime pay

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to get ahead of everyone and only caring about yourself. If you focus your attention on your team and take care of each one individually as a human being, you will see how much more you will thrive. Hire more people and split the work between everyone.

    Pros

Despite of the negative reviews, I really enjoy working at Havas Media Boston. I'm fortunate to have an amazing boss and coworkers. We are loud, fun and crazy but at the same time, we treat each other with respect.

The NA CEO, Colin is smart, caring and dedicated. I sent him my feedback regarding the company. He responded, took action and followed up.

    Cons

Benefits - Need better dental and healthcare plan

    Pros

Great office, really smart people, laid back culture. You will meet great people and your team will become the reason why you stay.

    Cons

Teams are spread extremely thin. Client roster is lacking. No vision for what media will become at the agency. Leadership at the C level is not very available, and is lacking in initiative. Perks are nice, but what truly matters is compelling, challenging work and recognition of it.

    Advice to Management

Truly define how media will be a part of the agency. Look up what "scope" means. Try harder and pay attention to your employees.
