      Pros

many events allowing to mingle and network with the people from other departments. Snacks. Opportunity to meet and work with some smart and great people on the media side.

      Cons

Outdated systems. Lack of proper training and directions. Work – life balance is a myth at this agency as the hours are crazy and you’re always connected. While some supervisors are great, mine thought it was absolutely okay to be rude and extremely condescending towards me, to a point that other people noticed as well as behaving in the similar manner towards people in other areas/disciplines. In no other company I have been at, this was every happening.

Not somewhere you want to grow your career

      Pros

      - Great time off and benefits - Several teams of really great people - Good place to start off your career (but not beyond that) - Overall good work/life balance - Great office location (space is being beautifully renovated in the next year)

      Cons

      - Awful management and leadership. The people that are most senior are disrespectful, poor managers, do not value their employees, are ineffective communicators/managers - The Chicago office overall is shaky. They didn't win much new business in the year and a half time I was there. 15-20 people left over the course of less than a year due to poor management and inability to advance even after being there for long periods of time. - This is not a place to grow your career. If you're looking for an entry level position, it's a great place to gain experience, get a taste for media agency life, and get your foot in the door, but do not stay.

      A good mid-career growth opportunity.

May 26, 2014 - Senior Vice President, Director in New York, NY

      Pros

Generally there are great people who work here. If you work hard they will take care of you, and there are nice perks. Pay can be good, but don't expect it to fall on your lap. If you are in the favor of the right senior management people you can expect to have access to greater perks and resources. Typical of agency life, the hours can be long, but you will have a great time with your team. If you know where to look there are some strategically brilliant people here. Great accounts, and challenging work if you seek it out.

      Cons

The holding company's management decisions are poor and increasingly leading to a deep level of mediocrity on the company's output. Several management shake-ups have yielded no discernible benefit, and the lack of communication is genuinely hurting the performance of the company. There is a chasm sized divide between the internal communications of the senior management team and the rest of the agency. Decisions are based more on favoritism than on business results, and there is no clear vision for future growth.

Chicago "village" is at a precipice for media

Oct 17, 2016 - Performance Media Supervisor in Chicago, IL

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great office, really smart people, laid back culture. You will meet great people and your team will become the reason why you stay.

      Cons

Teams are spread extremely thin. Client roster is lacking. No vision for what media will become at the agency. Leadership at the C level is not very available, and is lacking in initiative. Perks are nice, but what truly matters is compelling, challenging work and recognition of it.

      Senior Management Needs Immediate Re-Haul

Oct 19, 2016 -  in New York, NY

      Business Outlook

      Pros

I was here when the company was MPG. It was such a fun environment. I've met the most amazing people being here. We are still friends to this day. The great people you meet are the only thing holding you from jumping into incoming traffic.

      Cons

Very disorganized and 0 transparency at it's best. Millions of promises 0 follow through. Overworked, underpaid and 0 consideration for life situations. Its either Havas, or Havas. Senior Management definitely needs a re-haul. Same people rotating their roles does not equate to efficiency. Key Rule: If you want to get promoted simply demonstrate you are most irresponsible and incompetent human you can possibly be. You'll be guaranteed a VP title in just 2 years.

      Pros

      - Have the chance to help a company grow in it's beginning phases - Small team so you have the chance to wear many hats - Agency life can be interesting and creative - There are some great people on the team

      Cons

      - Some catty and rude management - Conceding to unrealistic client expectations and failing to manage these expectations sets the team up for failure - Training is rushed and not as comprehensive as it could be - Entry level pay is low
