I have been working at Haverford College full-time

    Pros

Haverford College offers many employment opportunities at a variety of organizations within the college.

    Cons

At $9 per hour, the wage is slightly better than minimum wage but not by very much.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I worked at Haverford College part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

In my part-time position in the Special Collections department, I worked with a wonderfully supportive staff who gave training and broad guidance that has helped me on my career path today. I was able to experience a wide range of archival and library work, from processing to reference, and learned about the great historical value of the collections.

    Cons

It does get cold in winter.

    Advice to Management

I think capitalizing on community outreach via student workers who have a great experience at the library like I did could be a good opportunity.

I have been working at Haverford College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Friendly environment with lovely people.

    Cons

Dont expect a pay raise more than 2%. Which if you are an hourly employee that's cents on a dollar. No where to move up or incentive to be better at your job.
