    Pros

    Cons

    Clinical Directors are unskilled
    HR department is unfriendly
don't pay contractors or employees on time

    Advice to Management

instead of hiring former employees back, you should invest some time and see what the community and funders want. it is extremely sad to hear the internal staff and external community talk how HBH changes are not for the better

    Pros

This is a great company to work for especially if you manage to find a case at a great school.

    Cons

When your permanent case client is absent from school and you have to rush to be a sub on a case within a limited amount of time.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work everyone. You're doing a great job.

I worked at Hawaii Behavioral Health part-time

    Pros

Placed at a good school district and good elementary school. All depends where you are placed. Supervisor was from another company (Bayada) but he was very flexible and always there for support. Good benefits (medical, dental)

    Cons

Administration was changing during the last months of my employment, it was a disaster. Hopefully by now it should be smoothed out.

    Advice to Management

Need to give raise to hard working employees.

    Pros

The staff at HBH seemed to really care about what they were doing, and I always found them to be supportive of my needs/concerns as a parapro.

    Cons

In five years, my pay rate increased by less than a dollar. That's a bit absurd and doesn't encourage much loyalty.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good fight and be sure to find ways to reward employees who have stuck with you guys for the long-haul.
