    Pros

Great team dynamic, managers that actually care about you not only as an employee but, truly about you as a person, great environment for growth, annual raises, great benefits, amazing doctors, The best ED team I’ve ever seen.

    Cons

Pay for parking. Some departments tend to be slightly “cliquey”.

I have been working at Hawaii Pacific Health part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very proud to work for Pali Momi Medical Center Emergency Department. The doctors & providers are so amazing, compassionate and patient-focused. As a very experienced RN, I find the doctors respectful and attentive, especially when Im advocating for my patients, the doctors are always on board. What a great place. When I submit ideas to the Administration, they are always receptive and enthusiastic about them and always give feedback. The corporate culture embraces local values of love, caring, unity, Aloha, and the CEO and corporation display a deep respect for patients, staff and the local community. This corporation remains true to its values.

    Cons

Would love it if HPH had permanent, part-time positions for nurses.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you’re doing. Pali Momi has maintained the warm aloha spirit that it has always had, making it a very happy place for staff. This translates into friendly, compassionate patient care.

I worked at Hawaii Pacific Health full-time

    Pros

doctors were friendly, the people were friendly, the pay was okay, some staff were easy to get along with, it was always busy

    Cons

management always gossiped about employees to other employees, manager would send emails belittling employees, the morning crew was always favored over the night crew, ipads & phones were allowed to be used at work which meant not giving the appropriate care to patients.

    Advice to Management

change the manager. she gossiped too much, she brought her marital problems to work and she would belittle employees instead of teach them. which is why a lot of them quit.
