    Pros

    benefits an pay are wonderful When we can offer service is great

    Cons

    Management plays favorites and has no problem showing it Training is horrible an inconsistent Management takes no responsibility for poor training they blame the reps for "not listening" or "not being able to adjust to change" Forced OT have to stay till calls are cleared even if you have something to do and your shift is over CRM is full of errors and problems The right hand is not communicating with the left...

    Advice to Management

    Stop playing favorites and helping some but not others, stop hanging out with lower level employees that looks like favoritism. Don't get annoyed when your reps ask you for help that is your job. and we would need so much help if we were trained properly.

    I worked at Hawaiian Telcom full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    pay and benefits are great. If you can survive initial probationary period, extremely strong union. On-site cafeteria and gym.

    Cons

    Training program very inadequate. After completing initial training period you will find much of the information you were taught is wrong and will be reprimanded for YOUR "errors". Management and leads are rarely available and when they are you will often get conflicting responses. Management does not care about employees and does not take accountability for their errors.
