      good pay and overtime

      Pros

lots of overtime for maintenance techs. Good pay and benefits

      Cons

metrics are unrealistic to hit as maintenance technicians could spend a week on a big outage but only get credit for one job completed when they want and tell you to complete atleast two jobs a day

      Good pay, poorly mismanaged company

      Pros

The pay, benefits, bank in the building, downtown location and the people

      Cons

As most have said mid level management. Too many people collecting a check for doing next to nothing. The company has the arrogance of a bigger Telcom company (say Comcast or Time Warner), without the customer base or resources. How can you have the most expensive product to your market and not invest in your company to provide the best service?

      Horrible, horrible, company

      Pros

pay and benefits are great. If you can survive initial probationary period, extremely strong union. On-site cafeteria and gym.

      Cons

Training program very inadequate. After completing initial training period you will find much of the information you were taught is wrong and will be reprimanded for YOUR "errors". Management and leads are rarely available and when they are you will often get conflicting responses. Management does not care about employees and does not take accountability for their errors. Buck passing very common. Company systems are extremely inefficient/inadequate and often results in customer facing issues which you will be responsible to correct. Inadequately staffed for technical support positions which results in long hold times and irate customers. Corporate culture feels like high school. It often feels like management didn''t care if you're a good employee and perform your job, only if they liked you. Favortism very prevalent. Employee churn very high due to job dissatisfaction. Most employees will agree that they dislike working there but tolerate it for the pay.

      Sinking Slowly Into the Pacific

      Pros

      Great, competitive pay and benefits.

      Cons

Some practices were unethical in the areas of hiring/firing, and expense accounting. People are moved into positions because they are friends of the hiring manager, not because they have skills. Finance would habitually roll expenses forward in order to show a better EBITDA. Watch out for where the company is headed financially as they are slow to grow, inflexible and face fierce competitors.
